Thanks to Julia, Shane and Adam, it was an amazing dive trip that was topped off by the best service and care. I heard about Julias cooking before I arrived and it didn't disappoint.
I loved diving the Canterbury wreck with northland dive, they put on amazing dinner, lunch and breakfasts for our group. Everyone was very welcoming and there was no shortage of good jokes which made up for the less than ideal weather conditions. Thanks, will definitely have to come back!
I came here with the Auckland University Dive Club to do my Advanced Open Water certification early June 2019. Shane and Julia are just lovely people, and the meals there are home cooked and delicious. Their gear is really high-quality and well maintained, as is all their facilities and vessels. Safety is definitely their utmost priority, and I felt really comfortable diving with them. Laura was a brilliant instructor, super helpful and fun. I honestly can't wait to dive with these guys again. Highly recommended!
I come here a lot. Share and Julia are amazing. Itâs a home away from home very relaxed atmosphere with great food and excellent diving. I would recommend a weekend away to anyone. Shane and Julia you ROCK
The lodge is big, comfortable and friendly with double rooms or dorms. Space for cleaning and storing dive gear is well organised. There are different launching possibilities for just about all weather and sheltered dive sites. I was supposed to be going on their live aboard to the Poor Knights, but it was too rough so we did sheltered day trips to the wreck of the Canterbury and reef diving. I was not disappointed and Shane, Julia and the crew made us all feel at home in the lodge and safe diving. Thanks for a great weekend.
Great place to stay. Exceptional facilities, very flexible, amazing food! The clear briefings and instructions make your day flow very easily. Very helpful and they support every single person in the group. Thank you so much Julia, Shane and Adam for your expertise and allowing us to be part of your space - I have to add that I always look forward to your roast chicken!!
The diving at the Poor Knights and Bay of Islands is amazing but what makes the experience extra special is the level of service Northland Dive give you. We stayed in their comfortable lodge, enjoying delicious fully catered meals. Shane and Julia are so knowledgeable about the area and marine species and do their best to ensure every diver gets the most out of each dive, whether you're interested in large or small species, wrecks or photography. Their small team makes it feel like a family holiday and there really wasn't any moment I was disappointed in.
